We like rude jokes, daft names and a bit of nonsense. We also like people leaving a hash keen to come back. Those things go together perfectly well.

Read the room

Banter is welcome; bullying and unwanted attention are not. Respect a “no”, people’s boundaries and their choice of drink. Give newcomers the explanation, not the hard time.

Look after the pack

Listen to the hare, call the trail, watch for people falling behind and tell someone if you leave early. Roads, weather and uneven ground deserve a bit of common sense, however impressive your beer-fuelled confidence.

Photos and tall tales

Reports and photos on this site are public. Ask before posting a picture or story that puts someone on the spot. If you want a photo taken down or need to raise something quietly, use the contact form and the committee can follow it up.

Be decent guests

Respect locals, venues and property, take your rubbish home and sort a sensible way home. Leave a good impression, or at least one that doesn’t require an apology letter.
